Marbled nails: How to prepare for a marbled-effect manicure?
If you’d like to take your manicure a step further and get into the world of nail art, the marbled manicure is for you! It gives your hands a resolutely chic look. As with any manicure, it’s essential to prepare your nails properly. Remove your cuticles and file your nails to the desired length. Clean your hands and nails thoroughly. Then you can move on to the marble-effect manicure!
How to create a marble effect on nails?
Once the preparation is complete, it’s time to apply themarble effect to your nails ! By the way, the marble effect is also perfect for a wedding manicure. As a first step, apply the base color (semi-permanent varnish is best!). For the marble effect, choose a white color. Apply your semi-permanent varnish as usual, using a UV or LED lamp. Apply two coats of white varnish before moving on to the next step.
Now it’s time to get started with the marbled designs! To get the most out of this step, I recommend you equip yourself with a special Nail Art brush, so you can be more precise with your strokes. Choose a black nail polish to create the marbling. Take your nail art brush and make three small drops on your nail with the black nail polish.
Marbled nail: How to create marbled nails
Once these drops have been applied, you need to use top coat to create the marbling! Yes, that’s the trick. Use a small drop of top coat to link the three drops of black nail polish together with irregular lines. This is where the marbled effect appears on your nail. If you don’t want to use top coat, you can also use cleaner. This dilutes the black color. Wipe your brush well after each stroke for a neat finish. Don’t forget to apply the final coat of top coat to maximize the hold of your marbled manicure.
Now, I can’t guarantee that you’ll get optimum results from the first stroke. But it’s worth practicing, because afterwards, the result is really stylish. And if you don’t want to go to the trouble, you can also go to your favorite manicurist!
